“The Hand That Rocks The Cradle Is The Hand That Rules The World” William Ross Wallace.
It’s International Women’s Day 2012. Wish you all Happy Women’s Day!!!!

“Holi” is festival of color, friendship and love. This festival also marks happiness, justice and prosperity. In our country we celebrate “holi” with enthusiasm and fun. We use different colors and waters in this festival. Many people also organize “holi” parties where friends and family enjoy together and some do enjoy with friends. I would like to wish you all “Happy Holi”. May all of your life be filled with different colors of life i.e. love, friendship and peace. Enjoy the festival and never force any one to play with colors and water against their will. Enjoy few holi songs along too…

It’s new dawn with new beginning, new aspirations, hope, and challenges. Month of March means marching towards new goals. Struggle and life are synonyms. Along with success and power come challenges and responsibilities. It’s not about how successful you will be, how popular it’s about living your life with happiness, harmony and empathy. We should find happiness in things we do. Helping each other, making wonderful place to live in is everyone dreams however, few acts upon it. It’s better to utilize our time in good works. There is no need to waste your time in gossips, ridiculous thoughts and behavior of people. Just be true and yourself. Truth always wins at last. I am quite sure that truth will be revealed sooner or later no matter how hard we try to cover it. Therefore, let’s live in harmony, peace and empathy. Some time people waste lots of time in pursuit of happiness not knowing that happiness are always nearby them they just need to recognize it. Whatever other says and do, we should always remember that our behavior does count. It is said give the world the best you have and the best will come back to you. Once one of my friend updated his facebook status as
“In life you will realize that there is a purpose for every person you meet …! Some are there to test you.,
some will use you., some will teach you., and some will bring out the best in you..!
… Some may cause you pain but you’ll learn to move on..!
So let go of the people who can’t treat you right and learn a lesson from them and hold on to those who love you and see your worth..!!”. This status seems to be quite reasonable and true. However, I would also like to add up one saying “The greatest glory is not in never falling but in raising up every time we fall” …Confucius.
For centuries there has been misunderstanding about birth place of Buddha; World peace founder. Few years back when asked about it many Koreans answered me that birth place of Buddha is India, while hearing this answer I was quite surprised and felt hurt. However, today I am glad to say that such misunderstanding has been minimized a lot. It’s my great pleasure to announce that this march 11th at Jogyesa, Jonggak station (subway line no 1, exit no2) a Documentary: BUDHA BORN IN NEPAL is going to be shown as a part of tourism program to promote about Buddha (World Peace Founder) birth place Lumbini, Nepal. This program is organized by NRN Korea along with support of different other organizations in Korea. Wherever we are whatever we do we are always ready to support good work and goodwill. Let’s support the good cause as every single effort can be a brick to success. The information given by former ambassador regarding the documentary is shown below.
Cricket always had been one of the most favorite sports in our country Nepal. Nepal pulled a six-wicket victory over Thailand in the ACC U-19 Women’s
Championship Cricket Tournament on Friday to complete title hat-trick at Hubara Ground, Kuwait. Nepal had earlier lifted the title in 2008 and 2010.
Nepal is the only team to remain undefeated in all three editions of the tournament taking its winning streak to 19 matches in the ACC tournament.
Winning the toss Nepal invited Thailand to bat first on Friday and restricted them in just 74 runs off 22.4 overs. Nepal crossed the target after the completion of the 21st over with the loss of four wickets.
Player-of-the-match Nepali skipper Rubina Chhetri grabbed three wickets in her 4.4 overs conceding only seven runs. Sangeeta Gauchan grabbed two wickets in her five over spell conceding 16 runs.
Thailand skipper Nattakan Chantam, who was dominating Nepali, was back to the pavilion in the 12th over in spinner Gauchan’s bowling. Chantam scored 22 runs and also shared a-24 runs partnership for the third wicket with Phira-on Khamla.
Chasing the total of 75 runs, Nepal did not start well. Nepal lost its both openers — Anuradha Chaudhary and Droupati Kunwar — on ducks by the second over of the innings. Indu Barma and Kavita Gautam shared a-17 runs partnership for the third wicket. Gautam was out scoring three runs while Barma (6 runs) was caught behind in Phira-on Khamla bowling. Nepal had scored 19 runs in seven overs losing four wickets. Read more
Sometime it’s really difficult to understand peoples mind and thinking. We go to different places meet different kinds of people. We can’t figure it out what they are up to, it’s quite complicated procedure. Sometime we may misjudge about them for e.g. they are just caring you as a friend but you may think they really take you as someone special in your life. Most of the people will just listen what they want to hear and make the illusionary world of their own. Some time we forget to read between lines. It’s our own confusion that leads to painful results. Some time some people can create the misunderstanding. Their facial expression, body language and their way of talking and caring may results in such misunderstanding. It’s our own responsibility to avoid such confusions, however it’s really difficult to judge people just by how they look, behave and sound. In my personal opinion, the best way to know people is to spend good quality of time instead of spending longer periods. Person’s feeling and their behavior can be somewhat known by looking into their eyes. It is said eyes are the mirror of the heart.
I am not sure if this saying is really true, because in this era of 21st century people’s perspective have changed a lot. Some of them choose money, career over their love. However, the most important thing in this life is to express the feeling of love. Never stop loving each other, nature and every living creature as this beautiful world is creation of love. I have a heard a phrase as its better to be love and left than never be loved. This is the month of February, month of romance, expressions and love. It is said this is the best month of the year. Obviously, to express your feeling there is no boundary of time but this month is chosen by many to do so. Please express your feeling and shine your light upon someone you admire as time and tides waits for none. I would like to dedicate you all the beautiful song by Rihana: We found Love. Enjoy the romantic month of February.

I am so happy to know that “Highway” Nepali movie is nominated under the panorama fictional films section in 62nd Berlin Festival. It’s a milestone to Nepali Film Industry. The story goes like this: a man from Kathmandu and his wife have been trying unsuccessfully to have a child. The man travels to the mountains of eastern Nepal to seek help from a miracle healer. The healer indeed has a magic potion for him but tells the man he must get back to his wife within thirty-six hours for the medicine to work. The bus that winds its way through the narrow streets, hills and valleys of Nepal is full of people who all need to be somewhere else in a hurry – to meet an internet chat lover, bring someone some money for medicine, or to visit their parents. But the travellers are obliged to stop again and again on account of general strikes, traffic jams, breakdowns and angry villagers. Some of these obstacles are overcome by the passengers themselves, who get to know each other during the trip they even dress up as a wedding party in order to be allowed to keep moving. Meanwhile, at home, everything has changed.
Deepak Rauniyar’s first feature-length drama is a road movie that is full of surprises and passion; it is also an unflinching portrayal of life in Nepal today.

Early July 2011 “Pyeongchang” won the bid to conduct the Winter Olympics. It was great news for not only to Koreans but also for all Asians. Of the 21 winter games held since 1924, 19 have been held in outside Asia and 2 games in Asia (Saporo and Nagano) and this will be first time that South Korea will host winter game in 2018. It’s great achievement for the future of Asia. Korean government believes that the 2018 winter games in Pyeongchang will leave a unique and lasting legacy for generations to come. It may be inspirations to young generations to flourish their dreams and hope. It may provide potential, opportunity, and hope to all Asians. Besides watching winter games beautiful places in around Pyeonchang can be explored. Some of the best places you can visit once you are in “Pyeongchang” can be
1) Daegwanryeong Ranch
2) Present and Future in Firs Road in Woljeong Temple

Vision Korea Project 2011 was organized together by Asia exchange association, Ministry of public administration and security and KINSA on 2011 12.18-22 at Seoul “Olympic Parktel”. The main objective of this project was to share and exchange ideas about the problems Asian students who are pursuing their studies here in Korea.
This kind of program is usually very progressive for interaction between different people from different countries. It was good platform for exchanging culture, perspective and sharing problems with each other. It is said positive thinking will create your future. In my personal opinion, it is one of the best ways to create a better future. Mostly Asian, countries have similar custom and values; however, there are few cultural differences. It was nice experience to know about their culture, language and perspective on the problems that foreign students are facing in Korea. Despite, of all the cultural difference, problems we are facing seemed to be more or less similar. 12 teams were designated to develop the proposal on the problem students are facing and how can we solve it. 2 days were given to us to prepare both proposal and power point presentation on it.
