    Iksan Jeollabuk-do, in South Korea is province which is said to be rich in agriculture practice and culture. As per change to my daily schedule, I had a chance to visit one of the beautiful places in Korea. Attending annual general meeting of Nepalese Student Association “SONSIK” was quite fun. Short sightseeing tour organized by Samdong international who helped in the management of SONSIK AGM was appreciable. (more…)

  • Inspiring talk with inspirational personality; Rabindra Mishra

    It was one of the most memorable moments of my life that I was able to meet prominent figure of our country. Rabindra Mishra, a writer, practical philanthropist and also a philanthropic journalist. Mishra is currently the head of the BBC Nepali Service. It’s not that we are not aware that we should do something for those who are needy. In schools, we always learn about social work in books. There are lots of seminars, workshops going on how to improve the livelihood of poor and needy; however, little we apply those in reality. Deep inside every heart there is a voice that we have to do but only few acts upon it. He wants to establish the practical philanthropy in our society. His works shed light on what practical philanthropy is? I have seen many foreign people and even some Nepalese friends helping the poor students in Nepal to study. (more…)

  • Friendship; friends are true gems of our life.

    Friendship comes in every shape and size. Friends are the most precious gift human can ever have. It is so true that though we cannot choose our family we can choose our friends. We talk, we play, we joke, we walk, we laugh, we cry, we play pranks on others together; we stand for and with each other. We are friends. Good friends are the one who walks in when whole world walk out on you. They will accept you as you are. They know your weakness but will always encourage you. (more…)
